Sharp ECO Vision
The recent joint venture between NEC and Sharp transfers the Sharp/NEC business under the umbrella of the Sharp Corporation, strengthening our drive forward with a clear vision for the future.

The Sharp ECO Vision 2050 sets out two key sustainable goals to reach by 2050:
to create more clean energy than the total amount of energy consumed in Sharp’s entire supply chain, and to achieve net-zero CO2 emissions in Sharp’s business activities.
To achieve our long-term environmental vision, we have also set medium-term environmental goals:
40% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030, and
60% reduction by 2035.
In addition to cutting CO2 emissions generated by business activities, Sharp/NEC is also helping customers reduce emissions by supplying energy efficient products.
